Blogs are annoying and digital mood boards suck. There, we said it. Not because we hate sharing ideas, but because most of them are quick hits with no real substance. Too many quick lists of paint colors no one has actually tested and mood boards that look dreamy on a screen but fall flat in real life.

The problem isn’t sharing ideas and dropping links. It’s that so few are truly considered. At Studio Saint Marie, we focus on design advice that’s deliberate, refined, and curated with the same care we bring to every space we design.
We believe design advice should work in the real world, not just rack up likes. That means showing you how something functions, not just how it photographs. It means being honest when something just doesn’t hold up, and being a space for well-earned opinions.
We'll share what we’ve learned from actual projects. What’s worth the splurge and where you can save without regret. Sometimes that means debunking popular advice. Sometimes it means recommending a $20 solution over a $200 one.
Always, it means being real with you.
We’ll never claim to have all the answers, but at Studio Saint Marie, we promise to always share what we truly believe in.
